A number of the historic Under Loughrigg Stepping Stones are still missing 15 months after Storm Desmond swept them downstream, Lakes Parish Council was told.
Councillors are frustrated at waiting so long for Lake District National Park Authority to locate and replace them, so have requested a meeting with officers.

However, Cllr Vivienne Rees reminded them a request from Cumbria to the Government for £120 million to rebuild bridges, footpaths and rights of way had resulted in a mere £12 million and many hundreds await repairs.
