A WALKER was rescued after suffering a wrist injury in Grasmere on Saturday afternoon.
The woman had been descending Far Easedale, when she had tripped.
She sustained a suspected wrist fracture, as well as a possible bump on her head.

The woman was treated by members of the Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team before she was taken to Lancaster Hospital by air ambulance.
The rescue took over three hours from 16 team members.
