POLICE are investigating an incident where a man has used counterfeit notes across Cumbria.
The man has used fake Ulster Bank £50 notes to pay for items of food at Burton Services on the M6, Boyes in Kendal and Cranstons Food Hall in Penrith.
The offences at Burton Services and Cranstons occurred on June 26 and the offence at Boyes a day later.
