EMERGENCY services were called following a crash which saw a car roll onto its roof on Sandside Road, near Arnside.
Police attended the scene along with an ambulance and fire and rescue at 11.49 this morning (August 4).
The collision involved a red Ford Fiesta driven by a 70-year-old man from Carnforth, which rolled onto its roof, and a black Nissan Note, driven by an 77-year-old woman from Storth.
The man was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary, however his injuries are not believed to be serious.
The woman suffered from mild shock but was uninjured.
Recovery work is ongoing, but the road is passable.
