MARIE Curie, a charity that provides support for the terminally ill and their families, is appealing for volunteers to help with its South Lakeland summer collections.
There are opportunities available across Kendal, Ambleside and Kirkby Lonsdale, all on August 25.
Hayley Revell, community fundraiser for Marie Curie, said: “Marie Curie makes it possible for more terminally ill people to spend time at home, surrounded by the people and things they love. Whilst we already have a fantastic group of volunteers who help us with our collections we are always looking for more support, so we’d love to hear from you.”
