A GLEASTON couple's plans for a dog training area met with approval from South Lakeland District Council.
Mr and Mrs Murray are proposing a stable-type shelter in a field at Carrs Lane, Gleaston, to provide dry, indoor space for dog training and exercising, and a 'brew room' for dog owners.
Fifty-five people signed a petition supporting the plan, according to planning documents.
Aldingham Parish Council said it did not object, provided noise was kept to a minimum.
