SCULPTOR Andrew Kay is seeking planning consent for a new workshop at his Lupton base.
Mr Kay is renowned for his artworks depicting creatures such as stags and stallions, which are owned by private collectors around the world and have been displayed at locations such as York Minster and Blackwell, the Arts and Crafts house overlooking Windermere.

The steel-roofed workshop would be timber-clad and located in a field beside Mr Kay's existing workshop and house, according to plans.
