THE annual Lakeland Country Fair at Torver will definitely go ahead on August 19, say organisers.
Alison Bolt, secretary of the fair's management committee, said: "The foot and mouth restrictions will not affect the fair.
"The event is not an agricultural show. As things stand at the moment, the only casualty of the movement ban will be the sheep clipping demonsatration. This will not go ahead unless circumstances change."
