THE Burneside Community Park Association will hold a "Family Fun Day" on Sunday 12 August. This is to raise funds for the refurbishment of the childrens' playground. It will begin at 1pm on the Chapel Field Playground.
The Parish Council has a "Drop In" for people to chat or relate problems. This is each Wednesday morning from 9am to 9.30am in the Church Room at the side of St Oswald's Parish Church. There is free tea and biscuits.
On Bank Holiday Monday, August 27, the Youth Club is organising a "Fun Day & Duck Race" to raise funds. This will begin at 1.30pm on the Youth Club field.
The next meeting of the Parish Council is Tuesday September 4 at 7pm in the Church Room. Residents are welcome.
