A SECTION of a major road in Furness is closed to motorists after a lorry flipped on to its side this morning (Wednesday).
The incident happened on the A5092 by the service station at Greenodd, just off the A590, at 7.50am, and the section of road is currently closed while it is cleared up after the blue Volvo tipper truck spilt its load of quarry slate on to the carriageway.
The male driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
