A YELLOW weather warning for snow has been issued for parts of Cumbria for tomorrow and Wednesday.
The Met Office warnings are in place from 12.05am until 11.55pm on both days.
On Tuesday, the eastern part of the county is expected to experience snow showers, some longer periods of snow and very low temperatures.
And on Wednesday (February 28), heavy snow showers are expected in the east, north and some of the southern parts of the county.
The Met Office warns that there is the potential for travel delays on roads, with some stranded vehicles and passengers, as well as delays or cancellations to rail and air travel.
Some rural communities could become cut off, power cuts may occur and other services, such as mobile phones, may be affected.
