A MAN had to be rescued after scaffolding collapsed in a busy Furness street.
The incident happened at about 2.40pm today (Wednesday) in Market Street, Dalton-in-Furness.
Fire crews from Dalton and Barrow rushed to the scene and helped paramedics with their treatment of the man, whose injuries were not life-threatening.
The crews returned to their stations just more than an hour later.
