New principal Kelvin Nash appointed at Kendal College

A new principal has been appointed to take over the helm at Kendal College.

The Board of Kendal College has announced the appointment of Kelvin Nash as its next CEO and Principal, following the retirement of Graham Wilkinson after 18 years.

Kelvin joins the college from the Heart of Worcestershire College, where he is currently Vice Principal, having worked in the further education sector for 19 years.

Chair of Governors Cath Dutton said: "He has an impressive background of collaboration and partnership working, as well as securing growth in both funding and student numbers.

"He is highly experienced in working with other educational providers, employers and decision makers to ensure the best opportunities in quality training and education.

"Kelvin will join the college at the end of May and we all look forward to working with him and welcoming him to the South Lakes."
