POLICE have launched an appeal for information after one vehicle was stolen and another broken into while parked on a lay-by at Lindal-in-Furness.
The incident happened overnight between Thursday (August 9) and Friday (August 10) at a lay-by on the A590 at Bank Terrace. A beige Volkswagen camper van, carrying the registration L588 NHE, was stolen and a white Mercedes Sprinter van was broken into and a number of power tools were taken.
Police are linking the incidents and believe the camper van was used to drive the tools away.
