LIVERPOOL FC legend Bruce Grobbelaar will talk about stories from his glittering career at a fundraising event for Endmoor KGR Football Club.
The club, which has two teams competing the Westmorland Football League, needs to raise £12,000 for renovations to changing rooms.
A Football Foundation grant has been secured to contribute 50 per cent of the cost, but the club needs to raise the rest of the money.
Adam Roberts, a player and committee member, said works included replacing showers, adding a separate shower room for referees and improving the main changing room areas.
The doors will also be replaced by steel ones.
The event is on June 8 at Carus Green Golf Club. There will also be a comedian, David Hadingham, a raffle and an auction, as well as pie and peas supper. Tickets are £25.
They can be bought from: Adam Roberts (07733363315), Nathan Dixon (07539330343), Mike Teasdale (07920018238) and William Swallow (07738599754).
The event is supported by Barclays Matched Funding, who will match profit made up to a maximum of £1,000.
