AN application has been submitted to allow alcohol to be served and music played at a former Kendal town centre coffee shop.
The Bristly Hog, at Stricklandgate, closed as a cafe late in 2016 and a crowdfunding attempt to reopen it in 2017 proved unsuccessful.
But documents submitted to South Lakeland District Council show there are now new plans in store for the building as Theresa Kim Davies has applied for a premises licence.
The application shows that it is hoped a licence would be in place for June 1.
The opening times of the venue would be from 9am until 10pm, seven days a week.
