TRADITIONAL Kentmere farmhouse Grandy Barn, its buildings and almost 22 acres of meadow and pasture land have been sold at auction.
North West Auctions said the following prices were achieved at the sale, which took place at J36 Rural Auction Centre, Crooklands:
- Lot 1 – farmhouse, attached original barn and 2.98 acres - £340,000
- Lot 2 – bank barn and 0.49 acres - £130,000
- Lot 3 – 2.96 acres - £42,000 (average £14,189 per acre)
- Lot 4 - 3.29 acres - £30,000 (average £9,118 per acre)
- Lot 5 – buildings at Pumple Syke and 4.18 acres - £60,000
- Lot 6 – 4.74 acres - £46,000 (average £9,704 per acre)
- Lot 7 – 3.26 acres - £22,000 (average £6,748 per acre).
Each parcel of land has a natural natural water supply, and all except lot 7 have roadside access.
