DAFFODIL bulbs on a Milnthorpe verge have been dug up by a gas contractor, Cllr Clare Lachmann told a recent meeting of Milnthorpe Parish Council.
However, she said she was "delighted" with resurfacing work done at Firs Road, while Cllr Peter Hill praised the grass cutting done by part-time staff member David Mason.
Cllr Bingham expressed concern about maintenance of lifebelts located beside the Kent and Bela estuary, which the meeting heard was South Lakeland District Council's responsibility.
He added that he would be weeding the Crooklands Roads verge, up to Owlet Ash.
A problem with nettles at the top of Church Street was flagged up by Cllr Peter Capasso, and district councillor Rupert Audland said he would be taking action on overgrown hedges at Main Street.
