DRY aged pork belly from a Himalayan salt chamber has secured a coveted award for speciality food supplier Udale, based at Morecambe and near Orton.
Judges at the 2018 Great Taste awards gave the product a three-star rating in blind taste tests, making Udale one of only 192 competitors to achieve the top rating.
Udale Speciality Foods also picked up a further nine Great Taste stars for other products.
Owner/director Neil Udale said it was "extremely rewarding" to have such recognition.
