What a wonderful night at Kendal Rugby Club
The reason I left Cumbria 40 years ago was that nothing was happening. We can't say that now.
Recently we had the Spitfire in Kendal and then we had Status Quo followed by Lakes Alive, one of the best free festivals in England.
We are so lucky to have a new rugby ground which is opening up to others who are maybe not as interested in rugby but are also getting the benefit of the facilities.
I would just like to say a massive thank you from all the traders in Kendal, including myself and my daughter, for bringing business in. The Status Quo concert was a very welcome extension to the Bank Holiday weekend. Also, thank you to the sponsors.
I am looking forward to attending many more events at the Kendal Rugby Club. They should give themselves a pat on the back.
