DISAPPOINTING though it is that the majority of plastic isn’t recycled, we shouldn't confuse two issues.
The priority is to keep plastic out of the food chain and the oceans by disposing of it wisely. That’s the responsibility of every individual.
If companies can make it a commercial proposition through recycling so be it. That’s their business.
So, keep putting ALL your plastic in the bin and out of the whales for our children’s sakes!
If that creates a problem for our local council collection services so be it. That's what we pay our council tax for.
