PATTERDALE mountain rescue team were called out to Boredale Hause, a mountain pass between Place Fell and Angletarn Pikes, after a person had collapsed.
The rescue team were called out by Cumbria Police to a woman who had collapsed while out walking with friends at Boredale Hause.
The woman was assessed on scene before being stretchered off the fellside to Beckstones where she was transferred to a team landrover and taken to the rescue centre.
Patterdale mountain rescue team told the Gazette the woman was then transferred by land ambulance to hospital for futher treatment.
