A BID to knock down the former Copper Dog pub at Leece and build four new homes has been made to South Lakeland District Council.
The inn at Hard Knotts Lane is described as a "shell" in planning documents and has stood empty for at least five years.
Applicant Leece Homes Ltd is seeking consent to demolish the "fairly ordinary" property on the village's north-eastern edge and build four dwellings using recycled local stone and larch cladding, with sedum roofs.
