KENDAL Town Council has recorded a £8,689 'miscellaneous' overspend on its budget in the six months ended October 30.
A report to the council's next meeting tonight (Monday, November 26) reveals the overspend was 'almost entirely' due to the £8,636 cost of the Parish Poll into the future of the New Road common land.
