INTERNATIONALLY renowned storyteller, folk singer and harpist Nick Hennessey will be performing in the Supper Room at Ulverston's Coronation Hall on Wednesday (December 12) at 8pm.
During his 20-year career, Nick has appeared at prestigious venues such as London's Royal Albert Hall and Southbank Centre.
He has been invited to Ulverston by Furness Tradition. Tickets from the Coro box office, 01229-587140.
Meanwhile, everyone is welcome at Furness Tradition's annual winter gathering at Ulverston Sports Club on Monday, December 17, with performers including Furness Tradition Community Band, Becky Jones and Steve Gillings, Braddyll Friends, Mike Willoughby’s Raving Rock, South Lakes Harps and Furness Morris. Admission free, donations accepted. Doors open 7pm.
