I WAS interested to see The Westmorland Gazette reporting the resurrected discussion about the New Road common land at Kendal, without including that a local referendum was 1,060 to 437 in favour of returning it to genuinely common use as a natural space?
In a currently popular phrase, the people of Kendal have spoken.
