AN OUTBREAK of dry rot has been tackled at Kendal's Sand Aire House, the former home of Provincial Insurance.
Rotten timbers were replaced at the Grade II-listed offices on Stramongate and a damp-proof course injected into brickwork.
Pemberton Reversions (Kendal) Ltd is now seeking retrospective planning consent for the remedial work done at the 1827 building.
