An emergency road closure is in place at Broadhead Bridge, near Grayrigg due to a bridge collapse.
The bridge was badly damaged after Storm Desmond and temporary repairs were done to the structure.
However, the bridge has now fully 'collapsed into the river'.

A Cumbria County Council spokesperson said the council always had plans to restore the bridge properly after the damage it sustained from the storm.
The U5291 road and the bridge is likely to remain closed until the end of October.
