The panel featured Costco and two local businesses, Feltarn and Grasmere Gingerbread.

Lyn Hollinghurst of Costco, the world’s second largest retailer said “These events are fantastic for sharing information. We picked up some great tips from the local businesses here. Women from businesses large and small, came together in a true celebration of entrepreneurial spirit.”

Young entrepreneur, Yasmine Hunter of Grasmere Gingerbread said “We’re proud of our historic roots as the longest established business on the panel. Whilst we have a loyal following, many of our customers are international. A visit to buy our gingerbread creates a memorable experience that they associate with their time in the Lake District.”
