Nether Bridge this morning
An ambulance and a police vehicle were at Nether Bridge at Kendal this morning.
Police said they were called at 7.46am following concerns for the welfare of a man on the bridge.
Officers attended and the man was left in the care of medical professionals.
It is understood he was later taken to Westmorland General Hospital in the town.
