A NEW community hub is being launched in Silverdale for residents o find out more about local services over a cuppa and a chat.
People of all ages are being invited along to St John's Parish Church Hall on Wednesday, April 17 from 2pm to 4pm - simply turn up and stay as long as you like.
The event has been organised by charity Age UK Lancashire, with support from the Galbraith Trust, in response to concerns that older folks struggle to access services due to poor transport links and limited access to the internet.
More than a dozen agencies will be there, with others on a waiting list for future dates.
They include community police officers, Lancashire Fire and Rescue, Citizens Advice, Home Improvement Agency, Dignity in Dementia, Defying Dementia, Just Company and Trading Standards.
