Fire crew tackles Lake District grass blaze
FIREFIGHTERS grappled with a grass fire for 45 minutes.
A crew was called out at around 7.30pm on Friday (April 12) to a large fire in the open at Coniston.

Firefighters from Coniston used water backpacks and beater to extinguish the blaze.
The area affected was a 30 square-metre area of grass.
