A man who died following a fatal collision on the A66 at Thornthwaite, Keswick has been identified.
Three cars were directly involved in the incident on 20 April - a red Citroen C3, a silver Renault Clio and a green A Class Mercedes.
Keith Moore, a 42 year-old male from West Cumbria, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An 18 year-old male was flown to Preston Royal Infirmary and a 56 year-old woman was flown to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. Both had sustained serious injuries.
A nine year-old child was taken by land ambulance to Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle and is described as stable.
All families are aware and are being supported by Cumbria Police. Any witnesses yet to provide details should contact PC2443 Macleod of Cumbria Mobile Support Group on 101.
