DISCIPLINED cadets from 1127 (Kendal) Air Cadet Squadron marched away with top honours in the prestigious drill and banner drill competitions at this year's Wing Training Day.
More than 32 squadrons from all over Cumbria and Lancashire were represented at the competitions held at Kirkham Grammar School.
“This year’s drill and banner drill teams were of the highest quality and significantly impressed the judges," said commanding officer Flt Lt Tim Corry. "It is just typical of the commitment and dedication they bring to everything they do.”
The 1127 squadron, who meet at the old Territorial Army centre on Queen Katherine Street, every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm, will now go on to represent the Wing at region against squadrons from across the north of England.
