JOSH Hodson is hoping to become one of the most potent wingers in National League 1 after signing permanently for Chinnor.
The 22-year-old impressed while on loan from Jersey in 2018/19, scoring six tries in ten appearances.
Chinnor were eager to sign Hodson after losing Craig Holland – the third tier’s top try-scorer with 26 – to Rosslyn Park earlier this month.
And the former London Welsh back, whose season was cut short by a dislocated shoulder, is hoping to fill his former teammate’s shoes in 2019/20.
Hodson said: “I had just found form, scoring some pleasing tries before I got injured.
“I’m delighted to be staying at Chinnor where I believe I can challenge for the league’s top try-scorer.
“The backline next season is beyond exciting and I hope to be a big part of something special at the club.”
