A WALKER was airlifted to hospital with leg and pelvic injuries after falling off a crag late last night (Saturday).
Volunteer mountain rescuers from Wasdale were called at 9pm to Penny Hill, Eskdale.
North West Ambulance Service paramedics were already on scene providing casualty care.
The team helped to package the casualty and move them down the slope to where the Coastguard helicopter was waiting to take the casualty to hospital.
