GENEROUS Gazette readers helped a skydiving mum-of-two raise £1,500 for a cancer charity close to her family’s heart.
Legal secretary Jo Pritchard, of Kendal, said she was “thrilled” by the donations received for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
Her twin sister Tracey Probyn, a nurse, is being treated for bowel cancer at Preston’s Rosemere Cancer Centre.
Jo, who lives at Valley Drive, told the Gazette: “My skydive was absolutely amazing.
"I loved every minute and would have done it again immediately.”
She jumped from 13,000 feet at Cark Airfield, Flookburgh, making a safe landing with instructor Steve Simpson.
