PLANS to turn a Grange-over-Sands bric-a-brac shop into a coffee shop with ice cream kiosk have been lodged with South Lakeland District Council.
Mr and Mrs Rob Popov plan to give the cafe at Beech House, Main Street, a "modern, urban, chic feel", according to documents.
Two full-time and two part-time staff are proposed. The coffee shop's name - The Bay, Barista Brothers - would be printed on a sun canopy.
Opening hours would be 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 4.30pm Sunday.
