AS A trustee of the Parent Friends Association (PFA) of St Cuthbert's RC Primary School, Windermere I would like to congratulate all those concerned in achieving such a high standard in the SAT's exams and SPAG, as reported in the Gazette (July 18, 'Lake District students pass SAT's exams with flying colours').
There has been and continues to be, a lot of dedicated hard work and passion brought to bear by the teachers, parents and pupils in order to achieve this very creditable high standard. I would like to wish those children who are leaving St Cuthbert's for pastures new in September all the very best in what they wish to achieve in the future!
The PFA (a charity) is a group of like-minded people who volunteer their time to raise money for resources in order to help the school to continue to progress its high standard of education.
