POLICE disrupted three men out lamping and trespassing on farmland in Upper Eden, Appleby Town Council heard last night (Wednesday, August 21).
The trio were sent back over the border to County Durham as part of Operation Farmwatch, councillors were told in a report by PCSOs Joel Larmour and Sally Ewbank.
This month also saw police called to Chapel Street where young people were reportedly doing wheelies on motocross bikes.
Meanwhile a theft of confectionary from the Spar in Appleby led to a restorative justice meeting, where the value of the stolen sweets was repaid.
