A FAMILY has sent out a plea for help after their much-loved dog went missing on the fells in the Lake District.
Now gone for more than a week, springer spaniel Stella went missing on Friday, August 30 after a walk on Pavey Ark, which is a Lake District scramble overlooking Stickle Tarn, in the Langdale Valley.
A number of search parties, including Wigan F.C, have gone out onto the fells to try to track the dog.
Many people across the county have also tried to help find the lost pet by sharing the appeal.
The family said she is chipped and tagged with a phone number.
