PUBLICAN Tom Ledsham of The Snooty Fox, Kirkby Lonsdale, was the winner of a UK cocktail making competition.
His winning cocktail - South of the Lakes - was given out to guests arriving at The Great British Pub Awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
The Snooty Fox had been nominated in the Best for Spirits and the Ei Group Pub of the Year categories.
The Ei Group owns or operates around 4,000 pubs across England and Wales.
Mr Ledsham's drink was handed out at the reception cocktail bar and ran out after an hour.
The Great British Pub Awards are recognised as "the one to win" by licensees. It attracts hundreds of entries from thriving pubs around the UK.
