A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
Yesterday, police seized a grey and red YLK5000CX Diesel Generator as well as a silver Honda lawnmower from an address in the Hallgarth area of Kendal.
The suspect has since been released under investigation while pending further inquiries.
Officers are asking anyone who may have information regarding the stolen items to contact DC 2453 Tom Pearman on 101.
