NORMAN Holloway's picture in the Gazette on October 31, 2019, showed the coat of arms situated between the windows of the Pandora jewellery shop on the corner of Stricklandgate and Market Place .
It is unknown to whom the arms belong. The property was owned in the past by two different chemists, Boons and, earlier, Irvine’s. The plaque is removable as can be seen in the old photographs where it is shown to be in slightly different positions.
