AN event focused on improving running performance in Kendal was hailed as a success.
Kendal Physiotherapy and Well Being Centre hosted a RunFit workshop to nearly 50 local runners on Friday night.
The free session focused on running techniques, performance and avoiding injuries.
Participants were able to attend workshops on strength and conditioning, nutrition, running gait analysis and pilates.
The event also included a range of running related raffle prizes.
Richard Clarke, owner of Kendal Physiotherapy, said: "The event was a great success with lots of positive comments from those that attended.
"We now looking into delivering a RunFit event in 2020."
Mr Clarke expressed his thanks to those who supported the event including Pete Bland Sports, Voom Nutrition, Jogging Pals, Anytime Fitness, Ascendancy Apparel and James Kirkby photography and web design.
