Owen Coyle and Gavin Skelton are the early frontrunners for the vacant Carlisle United job according to bookmakers.
Skelton, part of the caretaker coaching team after Steven Pressley’s sacking, is 5/1 favourite with BetVictor.
Former Burnley and Bolton boss Coyle has the next shortest odds at 6/1.
The 53-year-old, whose last job was with Ross County until March 2018, is understood to have been a contender before Pressley’s appointment in January.
Former Carlisle trio Peter Murphy, Danny Grainger and Zigor Aranalde are 10/1 with ex-Blues defender Clint Hill 12/1.
