A DONATION of £250 was made to North West Blood Bikes Lancashire and Lakes (NWBB-LL) thanks to money raised at antiques fairs in Cartmel.
Between April and November, not-for-profit organisation Cartmel Antique Fairs runs the events at Cartmel Village Hall.
And, this year, surplus monies allowed it to make donations to worthy causes, with NWBB-LL one of the chosen recipients.
NWBB-LL is a volunteer-based charity whose members deliver items such as blood and medication all over the North West, providing a critical service free-of-charge.
