THE Lake District Holocaust Project will feature on BBC4 television next week.
This summer's archaeological dig of one of the hostels where child Holocaust survivors stayed in 1945 at Calgarth Estate, Windermere is featured on Digging for Britain which will be broadcast at 9pm on December 11.
In addition, the button project to commemorate the Jewish people who died in the Holocaust, which saw millions of buttons from around the world arriving at the Lakes School near Windermere, is featured in 'Sketches' on BBC Radio 4 at 11.30am this morning, December 5.
