1 Join The World of Beatrix Potter for a Father Christmas Tea Party tomorrow at 1pm.

The tea parties will be held with Father Christmas in the attraction's Winter Wonderland and will include the showing of a Christmas film, lunch and presents.

This event is priced at £16.50 per child and £22 per adult.

2 Watch the hero Aladdin, along with his mother Widow Twankey and his brother Wishee Washee as he battles against the evil Abanazar and his plan to be master of the world.

The show will start at both 1pm and 4.30pm tomorrow and Sunday at The Forum.

3 Santa will be dropping into Barrow Market this weekend.

He will be at the market today from 11am to 3pm and will be back at 12pm to 3pm tomorrow.

The grotto is free to every child who wants to come to say hello to Santa. Each child will receive a gift and an opportunity to have their photograph taken with him.

4 Head along to Dalton’s famous Christmas Tree Festival at St. Mary’s Church.

The doors will be open from 2pm-5pm today to show off the beautifully decorated trees.

Be sure to bring spare change to donate to the causes that each tree represents.

5 Barrow’s town centre is once again extending its opening hours tonight so you can finish your Christmas shopping after work.

Many of the stores in the town centre will remain open until 6.30pm.

Car parking will be free in all town centre car parks from 5pm.

6 Christmas Tales with Granddad is a show featuring a feast of festive stories, and it’s showing in Kendal at 2pm tomorrow and Sunday.

The show covers some special Christmas pants, a feisty gnome and Granddad’s missing tree decoration.

The show is suitable for children aged three years and up.

7 Head to Ulverston’s Ford Park over the Christmas break to visit the magical Reindeer Trail.

From Saturday 21st December until Sunday 5th January you will be able to purchase trail sheets between 10am-3pm at The Coach House.

The activity sheets cost £2, with proceeds going to Ford Park Community Group.

8 Enjoy a Christmas family favourite at Roxy Cinema, Ulverston tomorrow.

A Muppets Christmas Carol will be showing at 11am, including a special early visit from Father Christmas.

Tickets must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.

9 Join After Dark Entertainment in Kendal on Sunday at 7pm for an exciting murder mystery.

It’s time to be both shaken and stirred as you join the super secret agents from MI4 on a mission to Montenegro.

10 Get in the festive mood with a trip to Dalton Cricket Club this Sunday from 12pm-6pm.

It promises an afternoon of Christmas arts and crafts, Santas grotto and gift, as well as a Christmas disco.
