PLANS to convert a farm building into a garden machinery workshop, showroom and shop have been lodged with South Lakeland District Council.
Applicant Andrew Ford is planning a change of use for the building at Warth Sutton Farm, Crooklands, by proposing a service and repair workshop, and a small shop to supply garden and agricultural machines and tools.
According to plans, the venture would complement the existing Farletonview caravan site, tearoom and garden nursery at the site.
